Chawkat Moucarry Craig L. Blomberg Graham Cole The Christ on Campus Initiative (CCI) is a ministry of the Henry Center created for the purpose of preparing and circulating literature for college and university students, addressing an array of important intellectual and practical issues from an evangelical Christian perspective. The editorial team, led by D.A. Carson, commissions top evangelical scholars to oversee the creation and distribution of a variety of resources for university students. The goal of these resources is that they be intellectually rigorous, culturally relevant, persuasive in argument and faithful to historic, evangelical Christianity. The Christ on Campus Initiative is funded in part by generous gifts from the MAC Foundation (Fort Collins, CO). Established in the 1940s, this foundation is committed to promoting and supporting educational initiatives in economics, the sciences, Christian ministry, and Christian mission. In April of 2007, as CCI was getting started, a small group of campus ministers from around the nation was brought together on the campus of TEDS for a round table discussion. The discussion gave insight into the needs and questions facing the present generation of college students and helped the editorial team prioritize topics for future literature. The group of campus ministers included: CCI Editors Don Carson | Research Professor of New Testament at Trinity Evangelical Divinity School Scott Manetsch | Associate Professor of Church History at Trinity Evangelical Divinity School Graham Cole | Professor of Biblical and Systematic Theology at Trinity Evangelical Divinity School Doug Sweeney | Professor of Church History and the History of Christian Thought and Director of the Carl F.
